A Trophy and 30 Day Music Challenge

It’s been the last day of term for both T and D today, quite possibly the last school bus trip with the coach company who are making life extremely difficult for pupils who use their service and it’s also been a day when D rushed home, full of smiles, clutching this:
A “Musician Of The Year” award from her school, engraved with her name and school so it’s hers, forever. She’s a tad pleased with it and I think it will accompanying her to b e d tonight.
There will also be a shield (I think) at school that will have her name on it and the year of award, which has just made me a bit teary to think that, after she’s left her school, her achievement will remain there.
Wonderful eh? She absolutely loves music, whether it’s listening to it, singing along or playing it, either on the flute or xylophone and throughly enjoyed Proms Week recently. It’s made her day and it’s certainly made our day/week!

I could have chosen the Mr Men theme – lol – but instead have chosen Erasure’s Sometimes as it’s just so, so Hubbie and not just because of the first verse!
