30 Day Music Challenge – Day 4

Today’s prompt is “A Song That Reminds You Of Someone You’d Rather Forget”.
Urgh. Let’s get this one out of the way!
My choice is a classic song but one that I really can’t and won’t listen to. If it pops up on Vintage TV then it’s turned over, it’s not in my phone and never will be.
T’Pau’s China In Your Hand reminds me of suddenly becoming a single mum when my eldest was three, of the fact that I was told if I ever involved the CSA, he’d purposefully make himself un-employable and of receiving the massive token amount from him of £5 per week when I had a mortgage, household bills and nursery fees to pay.
So, now you know. A bit like that awful Joe Dolce song, this is confined to my “never ever ever play” list.
She’s got very nice hair though 😀

That’s not a very nice prompt – I guess any song that relates to a not very nice ex would be high up on my list.
