Just Proud – Thurs 16th June 2016

We’re proud parents tonight, mega proud.  We’re just back from a singing concert at D’s school, a concert in which pupils from her school joined together with two other schools in the borough to put on a special superstars show.

It was lovely.  There was some individual singing and group singing, with heaps of signing.   Our girl didn’t sing a solo but very, very enthusiastically joined in.  My highlight has to be the whole group singing “Rule The World” by Take That, the words are lovely and D was so happy singing it.

She really wasn’t sure about staying after school today to rehearse and having tea at school but told us she enjoyed it, phew! Her home-school diary did mention that she got a bit quiet just before what-would-have-been hometime, thankfully she got herself through it.

So, the jitters I mentioned yesterday for D have been overcome, mine are still there with no further update on my potential op, with a request to call back in two weeks – which will be two weeks before it’s pencilled in for! We’ll see.
