Wake up! Mon 2nd May 2016

The picture below …. substitute D for the robot and you get an idea how my day started…

Poor D, we’d told her yesterday that there was no school today and Hubbie had mentioned it this morning when he took her breakfast in.  It all went out of her mind as she looked at her clock and came in and shook me awake (yes really), with a “wake up, wake up, I’ll be late for school!”. Not that it was late, D’s tummy has a very accurate internal timetable when it comes to food.

Well, when your day starts like that, it can only get better, can’t it?

And, after the calming-down period for D, it has been okay, the quiet day that both her and T need before they head back to school tomorrow.

I mentioned in yesterday’s blog about our disappointment with Clarks over D’s shoes, I’ve received the standard “we’ll let the manager know…” response but surely this is something that could – and should – be implemented across all branches? I’m going to see how high I can take this, to see if we can get some change and awareness out there.
