Smiles – Mon 18th April 2016

A day of smiles for our lovely D today, it was fab.

From the time she skipped into school, to her coming down the stairs smiling and making eye contact (neither of those happen very often), to her whizzing over for a cuddle (normally she walks straight past, ignoring me) to the masses of squeezy cuddles I got on the way home, she’s been smiling.

Why? Because she’s had a day of singing and rehearsals for the school play next week.  Singing makes her happy.  T would have struggled with this change, he’s very regimented and prefers to be in the lesson he’s meant to be in, with a book but D flourishes with music.

Just like her mum.  D used to wear a tshirt with “music makes my life colourful” on it and it definitely does for her.
