This week’s #WOTW and #R2BC

By | February 18, 2016

I could write about how we’ve had a half term of days out and laughing, happy children but I can’t.  Both T and D have been ill and therefore our word for the week is:

But, you know, that’s okay.  There’s been no school runs to worry about, no volunteer meetings for me and no need for the children to worry about anything, apart from getting better.  T is on the mend but has extremely generously padded it on to D (who is even more flexible with germs), so … it’s probably on its way to me, guaranteed.

But thinking positively:

If it is, at least the children should be back at school next week and I can do the school runs and flop, if need be.  I’d rather not, I have a lot to catch up on but hey ho.

Being home has meant cuddles on tap, always welcome for our girl and you always know that T is definitely under the weather when he’s seeking them too.

I’m not a stripes or prints gal but thought I’d give some new jimmie-jammies a try, these are from Next and this is the website image, not me!

They are so flattering, maybe it’s because the pattern is quite long, I’m a convert (to this print at least) and just right for snuggly times too.

What else? Well I guess I’m very relieved that T is getting better, he had a really unwell haunted look about him at the start of the week and yes, we haven’t done a great deal but at least we’re all here, healthy (ish) and if Spring would get a move on and get here, that would be good!

How’s your week been?
