D’s letter to Santa – Sun 13th Dec 2015

By | December 13, 2015

Isn’t this great? After quite a few prompts, D took herself upstairs with her iPad (to Google the spelling of the items) and produced her letter to Santa.

She doesn’t like to write, she finds it challenging so the above is just super-de-duper.

I love that she’s used “please”, hopes that Santa, his elves and reindeer have a good Christmas and that she says she’s looking forward to Christmas.  Just wonderful.

It’s also extremely useful to found out what she’d like, it’s difficult to gauge whether something is just a “fad” (for example, the LaLaLoopsy dolls which she liked the look of but said they were too hard to play with) or something that she’ll definitely enjoy (necklace, nail varnish etc).

T is at the age where Santa is a myth and so his list is proving to be a bit delayed.  Anything football-related goes down well, but any additional ideas are always useful!

Glitter “landed” on the tree today, complete with finished scarf that “she’d” started knitting.  D was amazed that it was finished and we popped her letter next to Glitter for her to take back to the North Pole tonight.

It’s really added to the general Christmas build-up for D to go on a Glitter hunt every morning, she always does a happy little squeal when Glitter is successfully located.

This week sees the last week of term, with both finishing on Friday.  Hurrah!

That’s a brilliant letter, and very polite and thoughtful. Glad she’s enjoying Glitter’s adventures (that elf still really scares me – it makes me think of ventriloquists dummies – may have to stick to dinovember here!) Happy Christmas to you all! #SSAmazingAchievements

Well done D what a fantastic letter! I hope Santa manages to bring all that she wants. Happy Christmas x

What a great letter, I hope Santa brought her some of the things on the list. I would love a list to work with, it’s very much a guessing game here x
