A Good Saturday – 12/12/15

….is how D described our day today, a vast improvement on yesterday, in which her injection build-up and aftermath just all got a bit too much for her.
She loved seeing where Glitter landed today, in my wool basket and she’d started to make herself something. Cheeky elf!
D really enjoyed adding some chocolate decorations to the Christmas tree but took me very literally when she asked how many decorations there would be and how many would that mean for everyone, I said “14 for me, 1 for everyone else!” as a joke and both she and T were a bit taken aback, perhaps I should set a good example and share them!
Something else that got her very animated were these:
Santa’s Sleigh Race crackers from Sainsburys. They each have a little wind up Santa in a different coloured sleigh and the box also contains a cardboard track and a cardboard trophy, which I’ll laminate. Hopefully any competitiveness will be over-shadowed by the fun element. She just can’t wait to give them a try!
T’s team had a friendly today, which turned out to be just that, ending in a draw. He came home cold, but happy.
A Good Saturday indeed.
