Giggle #WOTW #R2BC

By | August 14, 2015

Sometimes I have to have a good think about just one word to sum up our week, sometimes it’s pretty instantaneous.  As I looked over at D, giggling away on the sofa, it was an easy one this week.

I know I’ve said my word is “Giggle” but Gigglebiz is really quite funny too, I couldn’t look at the image above without singing the theme song in my head.  It started me thinking about my favourite GB character – which prompted even more thinking …. more of that later.

Yes, giggles.   There’s been plenty of them this week, here’s some giggly R2BC:

1.  Every morning, a giggly, happy D bundles in to see me.   She’s always full of smiles and eager for cuddles and hugs.  When I ask her why she’s so happy, it’s a squealed “because I’m with you”, followed by giggles.  She has been chirpy and happy more-or-less every morning this holiday, her mood doesn’t always stay that way but it starts positively.

2.  We had a giggly shopping trip this week, a time of trying on very tall and feather-filled fascinators and coo-ing at the lovely crystal figurines in the Swarovski shop.

3.  More giggles followed last night as T was presented with a “clubman” trophy, voted for by parents and players.  He teared around the field at training, giggling and laughing with his teammates, it was lovely to see.   There’s another friendly tomorrow and hopefully a full team squad isn’t too far away from being set up.

4.  And more giggles this afternoon with D flapping and then laughing on the sofa.   She has discovered that she can make one daft face and loves to pull it and then giggle.  Very infectious.

5.  We finished off our week at teatime – as we always do – with “our best, worst and funniest bits of the week”, neither T or D had any “worst bits” (brill to know) but plenty of funniest bits (which nearly always involve our pair of very silly cats).

And my favourite Gigglebiz character?

It would have to be the Lost Pirate, forever searching for his ship and his treasure, with plenty of “aaaaaaaaaarrrs” along the way.

Pirate talk always makes me laugh and I know I’ve mentioned it before, but my favourite all-time pirate joke is:

“where does a pirate most like to shop?”

A giggly end to a good week.

Oh I now have the Gigglebiz theme tune buzzing around in my head now! Giggling is such a lovely word, it just makes you smile, and laughing with the children just lightens your heart. Not sure who my favourite Gigglebiz character is, probably the news reader! Have a lovely week

Great word to have summing up your week, sounds lots of fun and giggling is so infectious. I often have the Gigglebiz theme tune in my head as my son loves it so much! Thanks for sharing with #WotW x
