Throwback – Sun 10th May 2015

There are times when T and D do not get on, definitely.  

There are vast intellectual and emotional differentials between them, not to mention the fact that T goes to mainstream with D at SN school and the fact that he’s a boy, she’s a girl and sometimes they just annoy each other!

It doesn’t take much, a glance from one to the other, or one of T’s sarcastic little asides (he’s very good at those) and then any goodwill has gone, D invariably in tears with T with a “what have I done?” look on his face.

But today, this happened (and apologies for the naff picture but I wanted to get in the picture they were sitting under too):

  
It looks as if T has huuuuge knees in this picture, but I wanted to show that sometimes …..just sometimes …. they’re able to sit next to each other and interact in a Minecraft world (and help and advise each other) without squabbling, or falling out, just comfortable.

And that doesn’t happen very often.

Yes, they’re both on their tablets, but there’s been plenty of outdoor activity, homework being done and (yes) a few snarky asides from T, but the picture above makes up for it.  A happy moment in each other’s company, underneath another happy one.  One of my favourite pictures of my two when they were toddlers, our “pack”.
