Roobarb – Tues 10th March 2015

D discovered a new fascination today, that of Roobarb (and Custard)!
She was given a “thank you” note yesterday from the recent birthday party she attended and there was a picture of Roobarb (the dog) on it. This prompted some “oh gosh, we must show you who this was”, which we did today.
She loved it!
The original intention was for us all to watch an episode (or efisode as D calls them), but as soon as that theme song came on, she was transfixed, not just by the music but the wobbly graphics, the friendly narration.. everything! and any thoughts of watching it together were gone as D played and played selections with the dah dah daa dah etc.
It’s one of those classic children’s (and adults) programmes, something that Hubbie and I both remember watching, it’s nice that we can “share” (I’ll apply that word loosely) with her.
A good day for her, she’s very happy that the routine is back at school, with the return of her teacher. T seems okay too.
I hope everyone’s day has gone well, I may be doing some R&C Amazon searching!
