Reshuffle – Tues 6th Jan 2015

It’s been all go in the Bluecrisps house today. A desk is arriving tomorrow so shelving-type furniture has been emptied, moved, up-ended and refilled to make way for it.
I can’t do this sort of thing – or any major change – when T is at home because he finds it hard to deal with. He doesn’t like the interim, chaotic period and needs to know when everything will be done and back to normal, whatever normal is.
So, it’s far less stressful to get this done whilst he’s at school.
D, by contrast, just lets me get on with it. She was getting some exercise to Just Dance and Ghostbusters (something she hasn’t stopped singing since) whilst I did the manoeuvres around her.
The first thing T said when we got home was “you’re always moving things and doing things whilst I’m at school”. I thought “yes, my boy, I do, with good reason”.
Back to school for D tomorrow and she’s had a couple of anxious moments; firstly because her day will begin with an injection and secondly, because she wants me at school, with her.
She’ll be fine as soon as she sees her teacher and her classmates, we just need to get that injection out of the way first.
