Bounce! Sat 4th Oct 2014

By | October 4, 2014

D was well and truly back on form today. Her bruising is fading nicely and any anxieties during the week have been replaced with “I love youuuuuuu” and lots of cuddles.

She likes Saturdays, it’s when the menfolk head off to football all day and we have some Mumma-D time.

It’s also when the food shopping arrives and she’ll act as an excited firemen’s chain (is that the right word? When they pass buckets down a long line), taking the shopping and rushing down the hall to the kitchen, dropping it off and then rushing back, giggling as she does so (thankfully no droppages).

She always waits excitedly for the shopping, bouncing as if on a pogo stick when the door knocks and then having a flap or two as the crates start to be unloaded and she can start “helping”.

It’s great to see that she’s back to feeling happy.

We were aiming to get out and about with her trike today, with the aim of getting her confidence back, but the weather soon put a stop to that.

Instead we’ve had a nice day at home and it’s always entertaining with D, when she’s happy.

I hope everyone’s day has gone well Jx
