A Bangle with a meaning #ProductReview
By Jeannette | August 18, 2014
I’m always very careful to review products on this website that I feel are a good “fit”, this means that I will miss out on opportunities but I also feel that I retain my sense of why I started this blog.
Sometimes, I’m offered the chance to review something so pretty and that can have all manner of meanings, the bangle above is one such item (and it’s not for the children, well not one of them anyway…D is a bit of a magpie when it comes to shiny, sparkly things).
Anyway, about the bangle in the picture above.
Did you notice that it’s twisted? I’d never seen a bangle like this before and it means that the text is ongoing, around both sides of the bangle.. I spent absolutely ages trying to get a good picture of how it twists (the picture above is from the Museum Selection website and captures it far better than I could.
The inscribed text all around the bangle is from from 1 Corinthians 13:4 and reads:
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres”.
Lovely words and I think this bangle would be perfect for an anniversary, a wedding gift, a special birthday, or an “I love you” at anytime. It’s also hallmarked 925 on the underside.
Here’s some more pictures showing its measurements:
It arrived in simple but tasteful packaging:
The bangle is priced at £89.99 and can be bought here from the Museum Selection website, its classic design means that it will complement existing jewellery and go with virtually any outfit.
For those who like matching jewellery, there is a pendant on the website with the same inscription, which might (hint to Hubbie) have to feature on a Christmas list.
Disclaimer: the bangle was sent to me for the purpose of this review, my words and views are my own.

That’s gorgeous but somewhat pricey for what I presume is silver. Well I’d hope so for that price!
