There was my blog name, a finalist. Not a winner but still amazed to be a finalist.
I’m on my way home from the Brilliance In Blogging awards, sat on a train which smells of wee and sick. Yuck!
I can’t wait to get home and see D, T and Hubbie. My reasons for blogging.
I had a chance to put names to faces tonight and meet some new blogger names too. To chat about our reasons for blogging over some really yummy (but very tiny) canapés and a glass of wine.
But why I blog is because of these two:
My wonderfully individual, stubborn at times, clever in their own ways autistic children. As the phrase goes “my child is perfectly different and differently perfect”.
If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be blogging. They have changed me. At times I have never felt so stressed with bureaucracy, other times I want to burst with pride.
I didn’t win but in a truly British way, didn’t expect to. Just very happy to have been a finalist and a massive THANK YOU to everyone who voted for me.
Homeward bound please to a girl who isn’t going to sleep until I get back and a boy who was proud of his Mumma in his own little way.
Thank you for reading Jx
