Successful party! Sat 8th Feb 2014

By | February 8, 2014

Immensely proud of D today, she did extremely well at the soft play centre birthday party she went to today.

It helped that she had been there before (albeit finding it previously very busy and noisy) but today, she was happily running around with her school friends, coming back to me every so often for a cuddle and a sit down.

She enjoyed herself so much that she would like her birthday party there and kept hold very tightly of an information leaflet all the way though having party food, whilst the boys (she was one of two girls) made raspberry noises on their arms – a lot!

It was also nice to chat with other SN parents too, the vast majority of pupils come by school bus so there is no “school gates” element, just lots and lots of school bus staff.

D’s cold is a lot better too which is a relief that is was relatively short-lived because she’s been generous with her pesky germs and passed it onto me! It was inevitable, I am her cuddle-buddy, hopefully it will go away soon. I can definitely understand how ropey she was feeling yesterday and the day before 🙁

Although T had no games to play or watch today, he was able to accompany Hubbie to a training session which helped.

I hope everyone’s day has gone well, comments/RTs/shares as ever welcomed, thanks for reading Jx
