Relief! Thurs 20th Feb 2014
By Jeannette | February 20, 2014
We have a happier T tonight, a T who actually might start to venture out for a bounce again soon. Not just because the weather is (finally) getting better.
This is the reason why (and probably the most boring photo on my site):
A nice, new, strong, cat-chomping-dog-proof fence. It capsized in the recent extremely strong winds and we fashioned barricades to keep afore-mentioned chomping animal away from us and our cats. It has been causing T anxieties and he hasn’t wanted to go outside, at all.
Hopefully after today he will. T is a chappie that relies on his bouncing as a calming mechanism so fence anxieties and his lack of football gameplay have definitely had an effect on his demeanour. Factor in the fact he doesn’t know which secondary school he’ll be at yet too. For a high functioning child who “needs to know”, there’s a lot of uncertainty (in his eyes).
A cuddly, cuddly D again today. A case of her wanting to be as close to me as possible again. She wasn’t too keen on there being strangers in the back garden and kept well away.
Still, a successful day though and somewhen else crossed off the list.
I hope everyone’s day has gone well, comments/RTs/shares as ever welcomed, thanks for reading Jx

Glad to hear things are looking up for T, and that D is in a cuddly mood! Sorry I haven’t commented lately, it’s pretty busy here in the Softthistle household with the february break! x

No worries, it’s taken me by surprise just how little free time I’ve had this time. My arms have been in permanent cuddle-mode. Been nice though, hope yours has gone well 🙂
