Project 365 – Week 5 #Project365

By | February 1, 2014

I can’t believe how fast January has zoomed by and it’s 1st February. Be nice to think Spring is on the way, if it ever stops raining!!

Here’s our week just gone, linking up with @TheBoyAndMe.

Saturday 25th January:

I love reading and I’m so pleased that T and D do too. D really enjoys the Star Girl Academy series and carries one of the books everywhere with her, in her little bag.

Sunday 26th January:

After a wet and eventful trip to Clarks, D and I made some ice cream stick puppets of us all. She’s enjoyed playing with them and again, they get carried around in her bag.

Monday 27th January:

D found a penny at school and was extremely pleased. She could not wait to show me it at home time. Bunny looked after it for a little while.

Tuesday 28th January:

Probably one of the only times I’ll write the word “k n o b” on my blog. I’m renovating an old dressing table and needed some pretty pink k n o b s for it.

I also saw this t-shirt in Marks and Spencer which I thought was fab!

Wednesday 29th January:

Wednesday saw D coming home covered in “well done” stickers. She’d done really well in Phonics at school, something that she found extremely difficult at first as she learnt to read by memory as opposed to sounding out words.

Thursday 30th January:

Thursday saw me heading into town for lunch and a catch up with a friend, it was really nice.

Friday 31st January:

This was a success for us! D has been on absolutely yucky tablets for the last 60 days and there’s some days where they’ve been spat out and not received well at all. The last tablet was finished, yay!!!

January has been a busy month and we’re looking forward to February and half term!

It’s fab isn’t it, I’m never normally keen on slogan tees (for me anyway) but loved that!!

Lol, thanks! The children get through so many ice cream sticks, we have quite a few puppets now 🙂

Those puppets are a great idea…might have to steal it! My wee man’s imagination is wild at the minute and it looks perfect.
