Hermuts! Sat 22nd Feb 2014
By Jeannette | February 22, 2014
Today has been another see-saw day for my lovely T and D.
T absolutely delighted because, although his football match was called off (again), there was some semblance of his normal Saturday in that the men’s team match was on and so he and Hubbie trotted off to that.
For D, it was a day when her “hermuts” (what she calls hormones) took over. For any pre-teen or tween this is a challenging time, but chuck autism, sensory processing difficulties and the fact she hasn’t been well into the mix and it’s been an extremely cuddly, tearful and prone D today.
I wish I could wave a magic wand or just tap something (like on an ipad game) and it’s all better but I can’t.
Hopefully a good sleep will calm those “hermuts” down.
