Aloe Vera pulp juice drink #ProductReview
By Jeannette | February 25, 2014
I’m very aware of the use of the Aloe Vera plant’s uses in moisturiser and creams, so when I was asked if I would like to try a couple of bottles of TAJ Foods range of Aloe Vera Drinks, I couldn’t wait to give them a go.
Having done some research between applying and waiting for the drinks to arrive, there were many benefits documented:
* An aid to detox
* Boosting immunity
* Energising
* as well as being packed with approx 200 active components, including many vitamins and folic acid.
The bottles arrived and I received a bottle of Original flavour and Strawberry flavour.
I gave the Strawberry one a try first, hopefully you can see from the picture that the drink has some pulp in it but they’re not huge pieces and are easy to drink:
I was a bit apprehensive about the taste but it was really nice, definitely a Strawberry flavour.
The Original flavour reminded me a bit of calpol, again very tasty.
How did I find it?
Well, I found it quite diuretic, but in a good way! I guess that is the detox element. Definitely energising and I could imagine skin benefits if drunk regularly.
I have been asked to advise that the drinks are not suitable if pregnant or breast feeding, not for children under 3 years of age.
The drinks come in Original, Mango, Lychee, Strawberry, Passion Fruit, Pomegranate and Cranberry flavours, the latter sounds a very healthy combo.
The bottles are a 500ml size and calorific value is 24 kcal per 100ml.
When researching where these could be bought, I found that Amazon as well as Morrisons stock them.
Overall, I enjoyed the taste, can definitely appreciate the benefits and they are something I’ll be looking out for.
Disclaimer: I received two bottles of Aloe Vera drink for the purpose of this review, my words and views are my own.

I much preferred the Strawberry one too, definitely something that would be more beneficial that my lunchtime can of caffeine free diet coke 🙂
