T for two Sat 4th Jan 2014
By Jeannette | January 4, 2014
We’ve had a very cuddly, sensory seeking T today. Not just his usual “cuddles” where he’ll place his head on my shoulder or arm but big, arms and all cuddles.
I’m not surprised. The dastardly weather has meant that his weekend routines are well out of sorts with no football to participate in and it’s been too wet and windy for him to use the trampoline.
As well as the above, T decided that he wanted to do a little drawing for placement with his Nanny. It was a lovely, very simple little drawing with some heartfelt words and it made us feel extremely proud but sad for him.
D has been rocking the pink cat onesie look again today.
She is a funny little thing when it comes to change. I’d downloaded the 12 Days Of Christmas app, which gives a free song/book/game/film daily, some are good, some not so but today’s was three Despicable Me short films (12 mins in total).
I thought D would be overjoyed at this, she is quite Minion-obsessed at the moment but because it was a new unknown quantity, she refused all contact with it.
Needless to say once she’d seen – accidentally on purpose – one of the short films via T’s tablet, she couldn’t watch to have them on hers and watch again and again.
It’s that initial resistance to change, even though she would end up enjoying it, which causes her the angst and anxiety.
And that is how we roll.
I hope everyone’s day has gone well, comments/RTs/shares as ever welcomed, thanks for reading Jx
