Project 365 – Week 3 #Project365
By Jeannette | January 18, 2014
Continuing with the theme of a photo a day with theboyandme.co.uk, here’s our week:
Saturday 11th January:
A butterfly, who had been hibernating above our bedroom doorway, decided to wake up today. The first we knew of it was a frantic fluttering of wings by the front door. It had a climb on my finger before it went on its way. D was over the moon, she loves butterflies.
Sunday 12th January:
A party at a soft play centre for D. The birthday girl’s mum made these amazing cupcakes and they were as good as they looked!
Monday 13th January:
My week has mostly been spent in the garden, I was clearing leaves out of the frame pool when this fellow hopped out. He was named Steve by the children and wasn’t terribly happy to be disturbed.
Tuesday 14th January:
This arrived, a skip replacement. Absolutely brilliant service and far cheaper than a skip, they recycle up to 90% of what’s put in them too.
Wednesday 15th January:
Whilst the children were at school, I was getting down and dirty with filling of the hippobag. Mugs of coffee very welcomed!
Thursday 16th January:
A rainbow on the school run made D’s day, she wanted to follow it right to the end in the hope of a crock of gold.
Friday 17th January:
Mud, mud everywhere. Garden work continued, in between the rain showers but I’ve made definite progress, although I have never felt so muddy!
Now we just need some sunshine..

Definitely recommend them, such a good service. The bag was collected within 24 hours of call too 🙂

I know! Quite strange. Just found some caterpillars in the garden too, hopefully they’ll survive and produce 🙂

He was definitely a cool dude, bit miffed at being fished out though (sorry Steve) 🙂

Thanks, it was so funny when he jumped out. Hopefully he’s found somewhere suitably yucky to shelter 🙂
