Project 365 – Week 2 #Project365
By Jeannette | January 10, 2014
I’m linking up with theboyandme.co.uk for Project 365, a photograph for each day of the year.
Last week’s post is here, below is what we’ve been up to this week:
Sat 4th January:
A onesie day for D and I. I was a Bunny and she was a Pink Cat. I read somewhere that men really don’t like onesies, Hubbie seems to love mine!
Sun 5th January:
I’d bought this candle holder a while ago and hadn’t got around to lighting it, until today. The lights in the holder looked really pretty reflected on the wall.
Mon 6th January:
D and I tested out some little pairs cards she’d had in a Burger King kids meal, she really enjoyed the game and I liked the fact they were laminated and should therefore last a while.
Tues 7th January:
Back to school for D and as T wasn’t due back until the Weds, we went for cake at Costa. A treat as I’m back wobbling with Wobbles Wednesday.
Weds 8th January:
With both T and D in school, I popped into town. There is a church and graveyard right in the centre and, as I walked through, I noticed this tree, festooned with ribbons and wool. They were blowing gently in the breeze, a bit of calm amidst a busy environment.
Thurs 9th January:
D was off school and so we went for a walk around the lake near us and got plenty of pictures for our Country Kids post, the swan above was honking away at us, it really made D laugh.
Fri 10th January:
A sad day as we attended Hubbie’s mum’s funeral. Afterwards it was back to a wake and a chance to chat to the many people who attended and shared memories. These scones went down well with everyone and there was a very funny moment when someone nearly sat on a plate of some.

So sorry about your hubby’s mum. So glad there was laughter with the scones amidst it all
