Project 365 – Week 1

By | January 4, 2014

Over the last year or so I’ve enjoyed reading posts with the Project 365 tag, this year I’ve decided to join in too.

I’ll be running my week from Saturday to the following Friday and as 2014 started on Wednesday, it’s a shorter debut.

Weds 1st January:

The start of the New Year brought the first mocha of the year, courtesy of Hubbie who’d been at work for a few hours and popped into a windy, rain-filled precinct on the way home. Unexpected and very welcome!

Thurs 2nd January:

A visit to family brought an opportunity to go past our old house and show T where he was born (in the living room) and D where she was nearly born! We moved six weeks before she arrived. Our house was the one in the middle, a little two-up, two-down.

The area hadn’t really changed at all and it prompted lots of chat and questions from T.

Fri 3rd January:

Yesterday was injection day for D. It wasn’t a pleasant experience and she has been having them fortnightly but from yesterday, they now revert to monthly (little *yay*).

Her favourite comforter toy is a Bunny and it’s only afterwards that I realised her “I’ve been brave” sticker has bunnies on, very appropriate!

stickers are a great incentive for kids, and how coincidental about the bunny. Thats quite a nice reprieve for your daughter, its horrible when you have to take them and they know what is coming. Look forward to seeing more of your pictures over the year

Thanks Elaine, yes the sticker was a great coincidence and quite good distraction afterwards. Look forward to seeing your pics too 🙂
