New Year, new hopes Weds 1st Jan 2014

By | January 1, 2014

With the “bongs” has hopefully brought positivity and optimism from this quarter.

Last night’s review of 2013 was a bit of a “woe is me” but I felt it was necessary to close the chapter.

Today has not only brought a new year but having counted D’s yucky pills, she will only have to take them until January 31st – yay! – it’s proof to her that there is an end in sight.

A side effect of the tablets – which we were advised about – was one of mood swings and these have definitely increased over the last few days. Items have been thrown, both small and large (including her ipad, thank goodness for its cover) and there have been more emotional outbursts than I would have expected during the school holidays. Another reason to welcome the end of January.

When she hasn’t been throwing things or getting stressed, D has been sensory-seeking and extremely cuddly, her onesie is so useful for providing some comfort, my arms providing tight-tight squeezes as well.

I put a post up earlier about a stocking filler D had (photo above), the Pizza Party game proved a great success.

Wobbles Wednesday also has a temporary home here for the next couple of weeks, if anyone would like to join in with posts, support and tips, please feel free.

Tomorrow brings for us a trip to town, hopefully it won’t be too busy for T and D.

Today’s end picture is D as a pink cat, soft, snuggly and reduced in the sale. Perfect!

I hope everyone’s day has gone well, comments/RTs/shares as ever welcomed, thanks for reading Jx
