My word of the week
By Jeannette | January 6, 2014
There is a great new linky organised by The Reading Residence, summing up your week in one word.
My word is also very appropriate as, me being me, didn’t have time over the weekend to link up before the linky closed last night.
My word is:
I started the New Year feeling very optimistic and positive about the year ahead, I still am, I just feel …well, scattered at the moment.
The school holidays will finish for D tomorrow when she returns to school, T goes back on Wednesday.
I am hoping after that to catch up with:
housework,
planning the projects around the house (first stop is organising a hippobag),
my blog posts which have been pushed back,
Wobbles Wednesday
and a tiny bit of me-time.
A quiet coffee and a browse through a magazine sounds bliss.
We also have my mother-in-law’s funeral to attend on Friday and of course, life must go on albeit with a big void.
I will join in in time next week!
My word came from a little flip-over thingy called The Daily Mood, I saw it in John Lewis before Christmas and thought it looked fun.

It can be like that at the start of the year, I think – you can struggle to know what day it is! Hope Friday goes as well as can be for you x Thanks for joining in with #WotW x
