Honk! Thurs 9th Jan 2014

I had an unexpected companion today, D, who had a really bad night last night and I therefore kept her off from school.

Her preferred position was like this:

Snuggled up with Bunny, with me administering cuddles on request – and there were plenty of requests for them.

We also had a walk around the lake after dropping off T, D wrapped up in her Cuddleuppet really enjoyed pointing out all the wild birds and it meant we had plenty of pictures for our Country Kids post.

Another walk/buggy journey before picking up T and a busy, noisy Costa which D absolutely hated. She was only able to tolerate it by using my ear worms and constantly told me she wanted to leave, but when it was time to leave she wanted to stay! Hey ho.

T had had a good day and I was extremely proud of him. I wasn’t in my usual place to collect him, as coming from a different direction, and instead of panicking, he used his 1stfone to find out where I was. Very good use of initiative and he may moan sometimes that it’s not an all singing-all dancing smartphone but it does the job and that’s the important thing.

The picture of the day has to be the swan who constantly honked at us this morning and has been making an extremely tired D laugh every time it’s mentioned.
