I’m A Blogger, Get Me Out Of Here!

By | December 7, 2013

There’s a fun meme during the blogging circuit at the moment and as I was tagged in by Kate who blogs here, I thought I’d give it a go.

I haven’t watched much I’m A Celebrity this year but have been catching up on the general giste of who’s been the goodies/baddies of this year’s series, much of it is down to biased editing from what I can gather.

Anyway, here’s my answers:

1. What one thing about being a parent makes you scream “Get me out of here!”

Tricky one… but I think it would be the fact that my children have inherited (they were bound too, bless them) mine and Hubbie’s stubbornness. There is always a need to have the last word!!

2. What qualities would you bring to the jungle?

I like to think I’m quite rational and try to see things from a positive slant, although I might find that tricky if 10,000 creepy crawlies (how do they know it’s 10,000 by the way? does someone count them?!?) were dropped on my head. I also like to see things through to the end.

3. How are you likely to annoy people if you were stuck with them for 3 weeks?

Probably the fact that I don’t like to back down and if I’d had to shout “I’m a blogger, get me out of here!”, I’d be cross about it because I’d feel I’d let people down.

4. What is the worst thing you have ever eaten?

Oysters, without a doubt. They might be an aphrodisiac but to me they tasted like salty s n o t!

5. What item would you smuggle into the jungle with you?

My phone, although I’m not sure how I’d keep it charged up… I’d find it therapeutic to blog any issues away.

6. What is the most daring thing you have ever done?

I spent the night in Hyde Park when I was 14. My friend and I had decided that London was THE place to be and we were always taking the coach up to see the sights and shops. A night in a park wasn’t glamorous at all, we were both scared stiff and were very glad to see the sun rise. I was SO grounded when I got home too.

7. Who would you miss most if you went into the jungle with a bunch of strangers?

Hubbie and the children. I would miss hearing how they were doing and the big rib-crushing cuddles that D gives out.

8. What celebrity alive or dead would you like to have with you in the jungle and why?

I’d love to sit around the campfire and hear the tales of someone like Rowan Atkinson or Billy Connolly, their motivations and any further aspirations. They would hopefully be able to lift spirits with some comedy too.

9. What would scare you about being in the jungle?

Heights. I don’t do heights terribly well. Whenever we go on rides at theme parks, in particular boat-type ones that rock extremely high, I’m the one with my eyes tightly closed whilst the children are laughing away next to me. My fear of heights is also how Hubbie and I met.

10. After leaving the jungle, you go to a luxury hotel. What would be the first thing you did on reaching your hotel?

I’d have a warm bath, with lots of bubbles and then a coffee.

11. Who do you think should win the Jungle Crown this year?

From the little I’ve seen, I think David Emmanuel is fab! He seems such a flamboyant character but very likeable.

12. Who is your least favourite celebrity in the jungle and why?

I don’t like watching people with hidden agendas, people who play games at the expense of others.

13. Which celebrity has surprised you most and how?

Well, again I think the producers have been very busy editing so that the viewers see situations that get over-emphasised. I’ve always thought Rebecca Adlington to be very honest and down-to-earth, more so after watching her exit interview last night (I watched it a day late so that I can whizz through the many adverts).

Those are my answers, it was a bit of fun thinking about them, I’m tagging in @ethansescapades, @oliversmadhouse and @vicwelton to see what they come up with, but anyone is free to join in.
