Melted! A #funee

This is Funee post I’ve been meaning to write for a while, but kept getting distracted by life with T and D (not that I mind one bit).

A few weeks ago it was BAKING hot wasn’t it? I mean real don’t-bother-to-put-makeup-on-cos-it-will-just-slide-off hot. And the rest.

My dear Hubbie:

(Those are "Despicable Me" cut-out glasses by the way, not his usual ones!)

…will occasionally pop to the local shops travelling between jobs and pick up anything we’re running low on – if I ask him – and on one such baking hot day he did.

He got home after 5pm, mentioned he’d been at the shops 2 hours before and that the ice-creams he’d brought (which had been stuck in the car since then) "may need to go in the freezer"(!)

Really?! Bless him, he does his best by us all. Love him (lots).

Anyway, T and D decided they wanted one of the ice-creams the next day.

This is how they should look:

Not my choice, give me a Magnum anytime, but they like them.

This is how they looked, after being stuck in Hubbie’s car and re-frozen:

A bit wonky-donkey. Caused a few agitations with D because they "didn’t look right" but she eventually got beyond that.

Oh I get it – kids really don’t like things that aren’t exactly as they expect do they? Thanks for linking up 🙂
