Will there be any play dates? Or have you vetoed practically every child in their school on the name/hair colour/dress sense/parentage bias that you seem to enjoy spewing at every opportunity.

When your children ask "what are you doing today, Mummy?", what is your answer?

Something like this: "oh darling, I’m travelling in a dirty smelly train carriage to sit in front of a camera and insult some people. I’ll be provocative because that’s what I’m being paid to do, isn’t that wonderful? The more "plebs" who get upset, the better. I’ve got SO many little people who agree with me and think I’m right. Me? I KNOW I’m right…..oh darling, don’t cry. I don’t need any friends and you don’t either. I certainly don’t want anyone I consider to be inferior sniffing around, definitely no-one with ginger hair/tattoo/beyond a medically acceptable /BMI. Goodness me no….you don’t need party invitations at those dreadful play centres, no, we’ll just ignore that envelope…India? No darling, your name is truly wonderful, no I wasn’t thinking geographically when I named you, those plebs are ridiculous to think otherwise."

I wonder if you are thinking of your children at all? Those three little smiling faces who feature in picture accompanying your bigoted views. Do they read? What happens when they’re old enough to put your name into Google? Will they be proud of you or embarrassed?

Please, just stop. Mind you, part of me looks forward to reading about the inevitable teenage rebellion – and if it involves a ginger haired young adult called Tyler then so much the better.
