Sunday 3rd June
By Jeannette | June 3, 2012
Jubilee celebration day here in the UK.
It was too wet to go to the outdoor picnic that the village had planned so we had our little Jubilee picnic at home! We all waved our flags enthusiastically.
T decided to be in charge of meals today, setting out place cards and being our host, waiter and organiser! We all got “certificates” made by T as well, with marks for good behaviour and positive qualities!
D has been very settled today, of course this would have been a different matter had we gone to the picnic as planned. She even let me have the River Pageant (Flotilla) on TV in the background, getting very excited every time the Queen was on the screen, saying “Elizabeth”. She (D) wasn’t that interested in all the boats but did enjoy the last five minutes with the orchestra.
I can’t seem to upload any pictures tonight so both tonight’s Jubilee picture and “butterfly-watch” pictures will have to wait until tomorrow.
Hope everyone’s had a nice day. Comments/RTs as ever welcomed. Thanks for reading Jx 😘
