30 Day Music Challenge – Days 15 and 16

Doubling up today as I forgot to post yesterday, so:
Day 15: A Song That Is A Cover By Another Artist
No contest with this one, it would have to be The Communards with Don’t Leave Me This Way.
I just love this song and – current situation with feet aside – will always have a bit of a dance to this, especially the “aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah baby!” bit before the last chorus.
Really good memories associated with this song too, love it.
Day 16: One Of Your Favourite Songs From A Movie
The song She’s Like The Wind is from the film Dirty Dancing and is wonderful to listen to.
Lovely and melodic and, I have to admit, one of my favourite contemplative songs.
Patrick Swayze really was the full package wasn’t he – dancer, actor, singer and really did seem very genuine too. RIP.
