Card writing and an insert

By | December 14, 2016

D has been up early today, far earlier than usual.  Partly due to excitement as her class has their Christmas “do” today, involving bowling and then pizza, both of which she enjoys and partly because she’s been busy making a little something for the staff in her class.

Loom band bracelets.  She’s sat in her room twisting those tiny little bands, making them into specific colours for each person.

And then she wanted to write cards, something which made me want to shed a little tear of pride, because she says that it hurts her hand when she writes but she still wanted to get these done.

All completed and ready to head off to school, she usually has some nerves about physically handing these out but hopefully excitement will overcome any nerves.

We put a teeny bar of chocolate in too, teeny but just a little token of appreciation.

I’m looking forward to hearing how her day went, I’m so pleased that she thought ahead with the bracelets and actually wanted to write the cards too.
