Success – Sun 26th Oct 2014

D has ended the day a happy, smiley girl.

We had a trip into town to collect her (replaced) iPad mini and yes, it was busy and there were times when her hand squeezed extremely tightly in mine. Times when I thought she’d run away, away from the hustle and bustle of people approaching as they shopped. But she didn’t. She stayed with me. Well done D.

D had another reason to be anxious, she was worried that the replacement tablet wouldn’t have all her little bits and pieces on, in particular the Minecraft (oh yes!) pictures she’s looked at the evening before it broke. A restore from backup meant that yes, she even had those pictures back in her safari – isn’t technology wonderful? (when it works)

We’ve also had some silly moments too, trying out the LazyBoy recliners, which I have to admit we were both a fan of:

That book in her hand? That would be a Minecraft strategy book, one of those is carried everywhere and frequently referred to.

So, it’s been a “yay” day:

That she didn’t bolt, she held my hand tightly instead
The tablet replacement was finally ready
And
The SN buggy stayed at home, folded up. We haven’t used it for ages and today was the first time we didn’t take it into town as a back-up, she did very very well.

I hope everyone’s day has gone well Jx

Glad that your day was successful and that she was happy! It’s really good that they back everything up now so you can get all of your bits and bobs back if you change devices!
