Cuddles #WordOfTheWeek #R2BC

Had you asked me on Monday if I had any happy reasons for this week/what my word would be, I would have turned to this song by Cheryl Cole and screeched “you gotta fight-fight-fight-fight, flight for your love” and then had a bit of a grump.

However, I’m turned things around in my fuzzy head and my word for the week is *drumroll*…

Cuddles are lovely and very welcomed when nothing else will do.

There’s been a lot of cuddles this week; cuddles to calm and soothe, cuddles as a “off you go, have a good day” and cuddles as a “just hug me because I’m feeling powerless and I need one”.

Extra special cuddles prescribed for T, who won’t know til mid-June which secondary school he’ll be going to as we’re appealing; cuddles for D as she’s been very brave during her monthly painful injection and big hugs for Hubbie who will be finding all the Mothers Day paraphernalia hard this year.

I’m just glad that we all have each other and can give and accept cuddles.

Oh and the sun is shining too!

I’m linking this in with Reasons To Be Cheerful, Word Of The Week and PoCoLo.

Have a lovely weekend!
