Wobbles Wednesday

I hit a bit of a wall last week, having jumped on the scales for the first time in ages and realising that I’d just been faffing around. It is definitely all about the mindset, if that is not in place, then nothing is going to work.

Graham at @bigfatrebel suggested the 5:2 diet and I’ve adapted it for me as a 4:3, my 3 days falling Friday-Sunday and curbing it Mon-Thurs, these are the days when my yummy scrummy juices will replace 1/2 meals and a low cal/low fat option for tea. To bulk up my evening meal a bit, I’ve been added grated carrot, much to the disdain of the guinea pigs who assume they have sole carrot rights!

My loss this week is: 1.5lbs which I am very pleased about, bearing in mind i weighed myself last Thursday. Slow and steady will get there.

So, my aims for the coming week are:

1. Stick to my 4:3, despite the fact it’s half term next week. The children can’t wait and nor can I, school runs/walks/paddles are no fun in this weather.

2. Because we’ll be at home, ensure that I have the snacks in that they like, but I don’t! Less temptation..

3. And..if it does strike – the munchies, that is – have a drink, wait 5 minutes and then see if it (whatever it is), is still craved. So, my last one is..

4. Up my drinking water levels.

Love that the 4:3 is working for you. I found it quite good (the 5:2), but I never stick to anything lol xx
